Warrior Games

Continuing our recent emphasis on the spirit of fellowship in competition,  our games this year are once more team-based.

There will be three challenges:
Water Balloon Timed Target Shoot
Two-man Carry Race
Team Circle Challenge
Each challenge emphasizes team work. In each challenge, points will be awarded for top placement: 5 points for first place, 3 for second,  and 1 for third.

Descriptions:
Water Balloon Timed Target Shoot
Run to the firing position. Set up the water balloon launcher.
Knock down the target with the ammo provided (which is limited).
Return across finish line. Best time wins.

Two-man Carry Race
Run the length of the race. The person being carried may not touch
the ground. If they do, the team must stop, reset in place, and
continue the race. First to finish wins.

Team Circle Challenge
Two teams of three will step into a 30 foot circle. If a competitor
makes contact with the ground outside the circle, they are
eliminated. If after three minutes there is no clear victor, the
team with the most competitors in the circle will be awarded victory.

Victory
The team with the highest number of overall points will be declared
the winner.

Additional Contests
There will be additional contests outside of the games. Cattle Raid
of the Outsiders    and of course, Chop Wood, Carry Wood.
